My 7 month old lab mix pulled so hard before with a regular harness and could pull me wherever he wanted to go if he wanted to. I had been wanting to get an easy walk harness for years, way before I got my lab puppy, but never did. Now that I’ve got one, I’m amazed at the results! It’s like walking a whole different dog! He doesn’t pull anymore on the regular with it unless he sees people or dogs he wants to get to but it’s manageable whereas before with a regular harness it took all my strength and body weight to keep him back. He’s a strong puppy and I was fearing for when he grows into a strong adult walking him, but I’m not worried anymore! This harness has made such a HUGE difference in our walks, I constantly want to walk him because it’s such a breeze in comparison to before! If there’s a slight bit of tension now in the leash, it starts to tighten in the front and he slows down. I definitely recommend this harness! If your hesitating or been talking and thinking about it for a while, just get it! It’s so worth it and I really wish I didn’t wait so long to get it!

I have a very excitable 70 lb boxer/catahoula mix dog that absolutely loves people. Add that to living in an upstairs apartment and you’ve got trouble. My boy can, and will, pull me along behind him whether I like it or not should he see anyone downstairs that he wants to go greet, and couldn’t care less that he’s pulling me down a flight of stairs in the process. Normally, that scenario led to one or more of the following happening: a) he got choked on a normal collar and leash, b) he managed to put all his weight behind a normal harness and get downstairs through brute strength, or c) I get pulled along behind him, suffering bumps, bruises, and sprains.
This got to be very problematic for me as I always had to “screen” the conditions outside before taking a pup that badly needed to go. If there was someone outside, I couldn’t trust my dog to remember his manners well enough to not try bolting downstairs with me being dragged behind, and there was always the possibility of it being clear when I stepped out, but someone coming out seconds later, and it was bye-bye Brindle.

Honestly I didn’t believe this is gonna work, but after 2 weeks of using this harness I can’t believe me and my doggo were suffering from its pulling for 6 years! I have a 30 kilos male 6 year old male pup, who was constantly pulling — I even have calluses from constant pressure on my right palm. Oh, not anymore. When he was trying to pull he was gently being turned around, which causing bewilderment and surprise in the dog, every time he stops, looks at me and I immediately praise him. We ordered L size. Material and the ring looks very durable. Honestly, that’s the first thing you should buy when you have a dog that gets excited easily! 100% worth it.

I’ve got a beagle that pulls bad on walks. I thought I’d try this. I like it. Its a good next step to try when you are trying to train. It slows her down and makes it uncomfortable for her to pull because the leash comes sideways by her shoulder or in between her legs. She can’t force her weight forward as easily that way. But as long as she doesn’t pull it seems like she doesn’t mind it. She still zooms around sniffing the ground but she doesn’t pull like she used to. Now I can take a brisk walk with her without feeling like I have to control her pulling the entire walk. And she is handling the walk better as well because she’s more comfortable, there is no strain from pulling at the collar. When I get it out now she gets very excited.
Also she is a 24 pound beagle and it baaaaarely fits. It’s strapped on as small as it can go.

My Golden pulls something terrible, and I read all the reviews before I purchased the harness! This is definitely a game changer! Took her to a Vet visit the first time I used it, and she does not pull me AT ALL!! Thank you, thank you, thank you! She pulled me right before this so bad, and on a rainy day. I fell flat on my face in the mud and thankfully just got a few scrapes and bruises! She was so excited in the rain and puddles she just started running around and made me go flying! With this harness that won’t happen again! The price was right and it really does work!! I will buy her another color too!
